A preliminary understanding of groundwater exchanges between the Riardo Plain and Mount Maggiore ridge (Campania, Italy)

The preliminary phases for a quantitative estimation of groundwater resource are the reconstruction of the structure of the aquifer and the role of its boundaries. Therefore it is necessary to review with an hydrogeological approach the geologic structural model of the study area. In this abstract some preliminary hypothesis are showed to evaluate a possible groundwater connection between Riardo Plain and the hydrogeological unit of Mount Maggiore (MM, hereafter).
