Oseervazioni preliminari sulla biologia di Scomber japonicus in due differenti aree mediterranee: basso Tirreno e isola di Lampedusa

This paper refers to aspects of the biology of the club mackerel Scomber japonicus caught in two different areas of the Mediterranean Sea. Length-frequency distribution and maturity were studied from specimens sampled monthly from May to October 2000, from north-western Sicily and Lampedusa Island. Differences were observed mainly in size and maturity.
