Advanced targeting approaches to drive nanoparticles inside the body

Conference Paper
Publication Date:
2016
abstract:
It was demonstrated that the extent of specific internalization of targeted NPs could be improved by regulating the length of the PEG chains in PCL-b-PEG copolymers to attain stealth properties and in PCL-b-PEG-Fol to ameliorate Fol exposition on NP surface. This study was devoted to demonstrate this hypothesis by producing NPs from PCL-b-PEG with short PEG chains (1000 kDa, to confer stealth properties) and a PCL-b-PEG-Fol with long PEG chain (1500 Da, to confer improved targeting ability).
