By a chemo-enzymatic procedure based on standard chemical reactions and esterification or alcoholysis in organic solvents catalyzed by Pseudomonas cepacia and Candida antarctica lipases it was chieved the selective derivatisation of resveratrol at positions 3, 5, and 4’.
