Attività nematocida in vitro di Capsicum annuum su Xhipinema index.

In vitro nematicidal activity of aqueous extracts from pods of Capsicum annuum (chilli pepper) on Xiphinema index. The effect of aqueous extracts from pods of Capsicum annuum L. (chilli pepper) on the mortality of Xiphinema index was investigated. Higher nematode mortality was obtained in macerated than in boiled pod extract at the same concentration. Nematode mortality increased with the increase of the concentration of both aqueous extracts and extending the exposure period.
