Abstract:
We demonstrate the generation of biphotons from a free-standing, bottom-up grown lithium niobate microcube at telecommunication wavelength through the spontaneous parametric down-conversion. The maximum biphoton rate obtained from a ~4 µm microcube is ~80 Hz
