Nowadays every discussion, paper or report about the normalization and certification, their liaisons and related problems can be done only bearing in mind the scenery of the, a1 last, near goal of the European Common Market, its meaning, the steps towards it already accomplished and the still necessary ones. Following these general guidelines we'U say: -what does the Common or Internal Market mean; -what has been forced to change or to evolve in the field of normalization and certification; -what has been already done at European level; Finally we'll give, as geografic exemplification, the Italian situation and we'll present as sectorial state of the art that of earthmoving and construction machinery.
