Report of activities 2011-2013

The publication of this volume on the activities carried out at the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment (IREA) over the last four years arises from the belief that the dissemination of knowledge resulting from research activities represents an essential element to effectively interact with the world of production, to raise public awareness about science and research as well as to attract young people to science and scientific careers. The description of the research activities carried out at IREA, as proposed in this volume, can help to convey the variety of topics covered and their main applicative implications, as well as the know-how present in this research institute.
