Strain measurements in OSB using digital image analysis

The paper presents results of the research on measurements of strains in oriented strand boards (OSB) using digital image analysis. The materials under investigation were OSB/3, thickness of 12 mm, produced in Poland. A set of three sample variation; cut 0°, 30° and 90° along the main direction of the panel, has been investigated. All strains measurements have been obtained in a simple uni-directional tension tests. The method based on the measurements of deformation by means of the digital image analysis separately for all 3 types of samples.
