Sustainable Biofuels through hydrogention of non-food oils

A Cu catalyzed, selective hydrogenation treatment, allows to convert highly unsaturated oils into high oleic ones undermild conditions. The treatment improves verymuch the oxidative stability and the cetane number of the oil while keeping good cold properties.
