Measurements of the N2 2?u ou partial ionisation cross section via (e,2e) experiments

The partial ionisation cross-section of the N2+ 2?u-1 state has been rneasured in an asymrnetric (e,2e) experirnent at 1000 eV incident energy. The cross-section shows some features that we have interpreted as due to the autoionisation of N2 neutral doubly excited states to the 2?u-1 continuum competing with direct ionisation.
