The building of insulated boxes: Researches. The worsening of the properties of the insulating materials can negatively affect the construction of the insulated boxes for the transport of refrigerated perishable foodstuffs. The biggest problem is due to the ageing of the currently used insulating foams. Some new technologies have been investigated (microporous materials, xenon, ..). Some recent experiments are also reported (construction of three different boxes by the use of xenon or aerogel).
