Caratterizzazione di spray in regime evaporativo mediante una tecnica di visualizzazione "fuori fuoco"

Sprays of transparent and absorbing liquids in evaporating regime have been characterised in terms of drop size and absorption by means of the "out of focus" imaging technique. Dia-meter and imaginary part of the refractive index of droplets were determined by measuring periodicity and visibility of the intensity fringes appearing in out of focus droplet images.
