Increased NGAL (Lnc2) expression after chemotherapeutic drug treatment

In the following studies, we examined the effects of the chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin on NGAL expression in drug sensitive and drug resistant breast and prostate cancer cells to determine if the expression of NGAL was different in the two different types of cells. Furthermore, we determined that NGAL is often upregulated in multi-drug resistant acute T-lymphoblastic leukemia cells.
