Biochemical markers in the population genetics of forest trees

The papers contained in this volume report the Proceedings of the Joint meeting of the working parties S2.04-01 Population genetics and Ecological genetics and S2.04-05 Biochemical genetics of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO). The contribution to the present volume are based on lectures given at the meeting held in Porano in October 1988. The volume demonstrates the importance of population genetics of forest trees and is an important report on the first studies with the use of molecular markers in population genetics
