Caratteristiche qualitative dei frutti di coltivar di ciliegio dolce del germoplasma della Sardegna.

The results of the territorial survey carried out in the past years and stili continuing has Led to the individuation of 28 old varieties oJ sweet cherries. All of them are held in collection (ex situ) at the Institute experimental station located in Oristano. Their evaluation and characterisation has evidenced a number of accessions witn interesting agronomic and qualitative [eatures. In this report are described some qualitative aspects (chemical analysis and sensory evaluation) of ten cultivars, which, far their early ripening period ("Caruffale di Bonnanaro") or size and shape of the fruits ("Confetto Clone", "Furistera", "Corittu" ), would be wortn to be cultivated in new orchards, especially in the native areas.
