Abstract:
A female Northern Wheatear Oenanthe oenanthe has been sighted in February in the countryside of Ribolla (Grosseto, Southern Tuscany). Scientific literature reports only a few winter records for this species in Italy. The present observation may be regarded as an early spring migrant.
