Abstract:
Both Directive 2002/44/EC and its italian transposition (D.Lgs. 187/2005) establish that the levels of mechanical vibration to which workers are exposed shall be assessed on the basis of indirect information and, only if necessary, measured directly. Databases present multiple criticalities. Therefore, new tools (guidelines) are here proposed, aimed at giving a better knowledge of each machine vibration process. Such guidelines would be useful for techinicians encharged of carrying out the risk assessment.
