Abstract:
This paper reviwes simulation computational codes state-of-the-art and effectiveness, based on case studies, applications and results achieved. The activities carried out by NAFEMS (The National Agency for Finite Element Methods and Standards) and its Italian Steering Group are also described, the author being a member of both.
