Quantitative determination of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in milk by multiple dynamic headspace extraction and GC-MS

A method for the accurate detrmination of Volatile organic compouns (VOC) in milk samples has been developed and tested. It combines multiple dynamic haedspace extraction with GC-MS. The method has been used to follow the seasonal variations of monoterpenes and arenes in goat milk and to detect the impact of air pollution on the quality of milk
