Validation of a New Code for the Prediction of Noise Generated by Helicopter Rotors

In this paper some results from HERNOP code are presented. The code is designed for the prediction of helicopter rotor noise, in subsonic and transonic regime; it has been developed at CIRA during the HELINOISE project, sponsored by the EEC. A number of comparisons are shown with previous numerical results and experimentaò data, available from literature.
