Misure dell'apertura di maglia con il nuovo strumento OMEGA in uno studio sulla selettività della rete a strascico italiana

In 2004 the new OMEGA mesh gauge was used for the first time within of a research on selectivity of Italian bottom trawl codend. The measures of codends mesh sizes obtained by the new and the old ICES mesh gauge were compared. The accuracy of measures and the results obtained become more important also in the light of the new Mediterranean Regulation.
