Oxovanadium(IV) Complexes of Malic, Succinic and 2-Mercaptosuccinic Acids

The formation of oxovanadium(IV) complexes with D- and L-malic, succinic and D, L,-2-mercaptosuccinic acids has been investigated in aqueous solution by means of spectroscopie (ESR and electronic absorption) and titration data. Evidence is presented on the coordination behaviour of the ligands and on the nature of the formed complexes.
