The virtual hospitalization: towards an information-organization system architecture

In this paper we describe how virtual hospitalization supports services and healthcare units and facilitates their integration. In order to implement the virtual hospitalization, we need to define, as first steps: the architectural approach to model health information systems; a replica of the real world in the computer.The first application of a virtual hospitalization is in the laparoscopic colicistectomy sector.
