Enantiopure Atropisomeric Phosphorothioamidates and Phosphorothioates

The straightfort preparation and resolution of phosphorothiates and phosphorothioamidates from 1,1'-biphynyl-2,2' diol 1and 1,1'-binaphtalene-2,2' diol 2 are described. Basic alcoholysis of phosphorothiamidates of 1,1'-binaphtalene-2,2'-diol 6b and 6c is higlhy stereoselective and gives one diastereomer.
