Abstract:
Epoxy nanocomposites with ceramic nanoparticles, i.e. Al2O3, Tio2 and SiO2, were prepd. by combined dispersion techniques, namely mech. mixing and sonication. The influence of fillers addn. on thermal, mech. and dielec. properties have been investigated by means of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Dynamic-mech. anal. (DMA) and dielec. spectroscopy to measure the dielec. permittivity, tan d and vol. resistivity. Morphol. investigations by SEM (SEM) has been also performed. (c) 2010 American Institute of Physics.
