First report of Inonotus rickii causing canker rot on boxelder in Europe.

Abstract:
An unusual canker rot disease caused by the white rot fungus Inonotus rickii (Pat.) Reid has been reported on several boxelders Acer negundo L.)in Seville (Spain). Symptoms and morphological characteristics are described and some useful notes about epidemiology are given.
