Un' applicazione dell'Indice di funzionalità fluviale in Calabria. Il caso studio del torrente Verri.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the environmental quality of the Verri stream using the new version of the Fluvial Functionality Index (IFF 2007). The results of IFF application suggest a good value of river functionality although some segments of the lower part of the river are compromised in their biotic and abiotic components. This last results is due to the presence of a lot of water extrations from the stream for irrigation and agricultural use.
