Enhancement of superconductivity close to a Mott transition

An s-wave superconducting phase is shown to appear in the proximity of the Mott transition in an extended three-orbital Hubbard model suitable for the description of alkali-doped fullerides. We discuss the key features and the possible generality of this phase diagram.
