A Double Tapered Non-linear Transmission Line Harmonic Generator

A double tapered non-linear transmission line based on monolithic Schottky diodes connected by coplanar waveguide sections is proposed for second harmonic generation. As a result, the double tapering improves the frequency doubling efficiency of the structure in comparison with both, the single tapered one and the uniform non-linear transmission line.
