Un approccio trofico allo studio della comunità dei pesci demersali dello Stretto di Sicilia nell 'analisi della serie temporale 1994-2004

The time series (1994-2004) of the demersal community of fishes in the Strait of Sicily is analysed keeping separate shelf assemblages from slope ones. Mean trophic level and biomass indices show different dynamics in shelf and slope. The shelf assemblages behave in a cyclic way reaching in 2004 very similar values they had in 1994. Conversely slope assemblages show in 2004 slight higher biomass indices but a high decrease of the mean trophic level
