Catalytic behaviour of chloroperoxidase from caldariomyces fumago in the oxidation of cyclic conjugated dienes

Chloroperoxidase from Caldariomyces fumago has been investigated as catalyst in the oxidation of cyclic conjugated dienes. Nature of substituents and size of the cycle affect the enantiotoposelectivy of the enzyme ant the course of the oxidation. A new CPO-catalysis has been using cis,cis-1,3-cyclooctadiene.
