MMsDusty: an Alternative InChI-Based Tool to Minimize Chemical Redundancy

Abstract:
In the broadest sense, a chemical database is anything that stores chemical data. A lab book, for example, could be considered a database as it stores related pieces of chemical information such as for example chemical structures, reaction schemes and molecular weights. However, informatically speaking, a chemical database usually refers to a collection of chemical information (structure and properties) stored electronically. Aside from the ability to store data, a chemical database also provides several tools to quickly organize, retrieve and elaborate chemical information.
