Association of Vibrio harveyi and Vibrio alginolyticus with embriotoxic effect in Mytilus galloprovincialis

In the present work we report on a comparative study of the susceptibility of Mytilus galloprovincialis larvae to two potentially pathogenic Vibrio species (Vibrio harveyi and Vibrio alginolyticus) collected in Mar Piccolo of Taranto, Italy. Both Vibrio species produced significant mortality effect on tested larvae and at all doese tested.
