The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C4H12N22+.- 2C(14)H(10)Cl(2)NO(2)(-).2H(2)O, consists Of two piperazinium dications located around two non-equivalent centers of symmetry, two 2-(2,6-dichlorophenylamino)phenylacetate anions in general positions and two water molecules. The solid-state structure is strongly hydrogen bonded.
