Esperienza di Record Linkage tra i dati dell'archivio anagrafico del comune di Pisa ed i dati di mortalità e di ricovero dell'ASL 5 pisana

The present work aims to give a representation of population health state in Pisa area (Tuscany). Sanitary data (morbosity and mortality) were integrated with data from General Registry Office and they were georeferenced. To implement this integrated information system we used different archives. A Record Linkage routine was performed. Using home addesses, GIS technologies allowed us to geocode residents over land. So it was possible to analyse the distribution of diseases over restricted areas (census tracts, administrative units, geographical patterns).
