Effect of the solvent and different Crystal packing on the europium podand complex:

The title compound has been prepared and characterized by X-ray crystal structure determination. The X-ray studies demonstrated the presence of two crystal forms which differ in the solvent content. The coordination is as a tricapped trigonal prism, where each of bidentate nitrates is trans to the coordinated phenolic oxygen.
