Structure of the neutrophil activating protein from Helicobacter pylori

The crystal structure of this protein from H. pylori has been determined. The macromolecule is made by 12 identical subunits, arranged in a spherical shell with 32 symmetry. Its property of activating the neutrophiles has been explained on the basis of the 3D structure.
