Ammonium 5-Bromo-7-fluorobenzo-2- oxa-1,3-diazole-4-sulphonate: A New Fluorogenic Reagent for the Determination of Aminothiols by HPLC

A new fluorogenic reagent for the determination of minute amounts of aminothiols in human plasma is proposed. Aminothiols, such as cysteine, homocysteine, derivatized with this reagent can be easily separated by HPLC and detected with a simple fluorescence detector.
