Production and reactivity of ionic clusters

The laser ablation method has been utilized for the study of semiconductors and superconducting materials. Crystals and powder mixtures of transition elements Cu, Ag, Ni with Group VI elements have been investigated. The mechanism of formation of complex clusters is reported and illustrated.
