Abstract:

The motility parameters of the carpet clam (Tapes decussatus, Linnaeus 1758, Bivalvia, Veneridea) spermatozoa have been analyzed by the SCA (Sperm Class Analyzer) system in order to identify the dilution buffer that induces the best motility activation in dry collected spermatozoa to be used in artificial fertilization or cryopreservation procedures.
