Isoprene and monoterpene emission of Amazonian tree species during the wet season: direct and indirect investigations on controlling environmental functions

The emission of different vegetation species near Rondonia has been investigated. It has been found that some vegetation species emit monoterpenes with the same mechanism that isoprene-emitting plants. This observation suggests that the behaviour displayed by some oaks living in Europe can be much more common than what was previously thought.
