Rete di Smart Cameras autonome per il monitoraggio di infrastrutture

This document presents the results of an activity carried out in the context of a project for real-time monitoring of relevant infrastructures, in particular concerning the railway network, with the aim of automatically and promptly identifying events that may threaten transit on these infrastructures, whether natural or artificial. We will describe a system of intelligent camera-based sensors to provide an alarm in case of dangerous events. A case study will then be presented on a test site. The results obtained demonstrate the good performance of the network in monitoring the investigated events.
