Indagine preliminare dello stato trofico del Golfo di Manfredonia (Adriatico meridionale)

In this work are reported the preliminary results about investigations in May 2002 on trophic status of the Gulf of Manfredonia. Water column parameters (temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and fluorescence) and surface and bottom nutrient along 4 transects (3 perpendicular and 1 parallel to the coast-line) were measured. Physical - chemical parameters show a thermo-aline stratification along 3 transects perpendicular to the coast-line, and surface nutrient patterns seem to be influenced by Adriatic cyclonic circulation.
