Abstract:
Young Minds (YM) is a program by the European Physical Society (EPS) born ten years ago. The then EPS president, Maciej Kolwas of the Polish Academy of Sciences' Physics institute, bet on the creation of a network of young physicists that would extend throughout Europe. The initial team was composed by Antigone Marino of University of Naples, and Giovanni Volpe and Armand Niederberger from ICFO. Ten years later, the numbers of Young Minds are clear: with over 60 sections in 30 countries, one can undoubtedly speak of a successful experiment. Among all the participating countries, Italy features six YM section, the highest number of sections for a single country.
