Metal-Ion-Binding Peptides: From Catalysis to Protein Tagging

In this report we highlight how short peptide sequences synthesized by standard or solid-phase, combinatorial techniques may interact with metal ions leading to efficient and stereoselective catalysts or sensing devices for the detection of proteins.
