Abstract:
That which is beautiful according to Plato conveys harmony and proportion to the eye and mind, offers sequence and measure, so that the variety of elements perceived are arranged together to shape an orderly whole. For Aristotle the elements which together form beauty are: orderly sequence, proportion and limit.
