Abstract:
The aim of the present work was to prove the validity of the well know stochastic dosimetry method for a low frequency near-field source exposure scenario. The interest in this thematic has grown since it was found that domestic appliances could be relevant for children ELF-MF exposure levels. In details, it was conducted the assessment of children exposure variability caused by 10000 different positions of a hairdryer as near-field
source, in order to test the goodness of the method.
