Abstract:
In this work the plasma dynamics induced during pulsed Nd:YAG (? = 532 nm) laser ablation of Sr2FeMoO6 targets has been studied by time- and space-resolved optical emission spectroscopy measurements in the range 250650 nm. The integral intensities of spectral lines were measured as a function of distance from the target surface and laser fluence in the presence of 5 × 10-5 mbar of O2 partial pressure. The plasma properties as well as ionic and atomic Strontium time-of-flights were measured as a function of laser fluence in the range 0.902.40 J cm-2. The results show how the different plasma features can influence the film deposition process and the magnetic saturation properties.
