Abstract:
In the Information Society, the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is becoming essential for the dissemination of information and in particular for the activation of new kinds of learning processes. In fact, the market in this field is rapidly growing up in whole the Europe. However, in Italy we are observing that the problem of the adverse selection penalises students in the choice of on-line courses. In this paper we analyze the on-line education market in Italy, highlighting the problems of informative asymmetries on the quality of on-line courses at university level.
